Sneak Peak
of Eliza's Birthday! I've been working non-stop to get stuff together for Saturday and let me tell you, after Saturday I'm going to have tons of tutorials on all the cool stuff I've been making. Here's a little preview- theme is Tinkerbell/Neverland:
I can't for the life of me choose and stick to one layout! I just feel like they're not right for my blog? If that makes sense... but I really like this one. Not too much but cute. It may be around for a while, we'll see.

50's Picnic and Thrift Store Finds
Brandon and I had our first weekend without Eliza to relax in our house soo we planned ourselves a little picnic 50's style! So we got on our little outfits, packed up our basket, bought some sandwiches from Quiznos, and headed to the nearest park.
(this is my bf, isn't he cute!)
(pardon the cleavage)
So we pick this little spot under a gazebo with a table inside and I started setting up. I put the picnic basket on the table and leaned over to grab the table cloth when I feel a sting on my leg! I leaned back and it was this little bugger!
It's called an Asp or Puss Caterpillar, and happens to be the most toxic caterpillar in the U.S. Dandy, right? Luckily I had Benedryl in the car so I avoided an allergic reaction.
(30 min. after)
(2 days after, you can see the outline of the caterpillar!)
It hurt for a couple hours but I was fine for the most part. It did however ruin our picnic. We were forced to commence on our living room floor, it was nice though. AC, no mosquitos, and a comfortable floor.
And our quiznoes was dang good.
While I was gone, I also picked up two awesome treasures from this junky Thrift Store.
The second one I have been looking for and they're like $20, I found this one for $3. The first I didn't need but I have the most perfect spot for it.
Oh and one more thing!
Eliza got her first cold, here's a pic for smiles! Even cute with snot running down her nose!

Red Hair
I have been wanting to dye my hair red for a couple of weeks now but am kind of waiting till I stop breastfeeding. Plus I'm a little nervous, I've always been into changing my hair color but when I got pregnant my hair got really dark and I kind of like it. So I'm stuck between enjoying my natural hair or doing something drastic. I have this thought that I should dye my hair now while I'm young and adventurous because I'll have the rest of my life to enjoy my natural color but red is a bid step, ya know? Aggghh I can't decide! Anyways here are some colors I really like. My favorite is Mary Kate's, I love her.
Hayley Williams of Paramore.
Amy Adams
In other news, Eliza has her first cold! And she was so generous to pass it on to me! Of course the week my dad went out of town, I get sick and can't enjoy it... life is wonderful that way. I have a doctor's apt. tomorrow so we'll see.
Oh! I almost forgot! I changed my layout once again, you like?

Photo Shoot in the Park
This weekend I had a photoshoot with my friends. We went to a park in an old neighborhood I used to live in and took pictures on all the playground equipment. It was kinda fun, I definitely enjoyed it and I like the turn out even better. So here's the pics!
The rest of them are posted on my fan page! Friend me? (:

Self Photographing
When I don't have models to help with the pictures, I just model all the clothes by myself. Which means setting up a camera and having to position it just right then setting the camera timer, running, posing, and then running back to make sure the picture is usable. Oh and make sure I don't look like I just crawled out of bed on top of that. It's kind of a lot of work! But I ordered a camera remote which should make it a lot easier. Anyways I've been kind of teaching myself photography and learning what looks good and what doesn't. I've also become kind of a pro at Photoshop which helps alot too. But I've picked up a few tips on the way.
These are from my little experiment yesterday (if you like the skirt, go here :) ). It took me a little while to get used to modeling, it's a lot harder than I thought! It takes a bit of testing to figure out if you tilt your head too much it looks like you have a mile long neck, haha. So here is me without a flash and no lights beside sunlight from the windows on either side of me.

This is me with a flash (my hair was wet and looked weird down), kind of washed out right?
So I made a "poor man's ring flash" and fixed that.
And then with a little Photoshopping I got this:
I'm pretty pleased with myself. This makes photographing clothes and stuff much more exciting now that I somewhat know what I'm doing!
Oh also some exciting news, I was featured in a treasury! Pink Bows anyone?? I love all the items in it really!
I made a facebook fan page for store! Here's a link if you want to friend me (:
