for Easter Break! I'm so ready for a vacation and what better way to do it than to go to one of my favorite places in the world! Happy Easter everyone and have a great weekend!
So I checked out this resale shop called Plato's Closet that I think I'm going bring all my clothes in to trade. Since having Eliza, my style has really changed and I need to update my wardrobe. I'm really into floral and nude colors here are some things I like;
from Urban Outfitters There's also a kids store that I want to take all Eliza's overgrown clothes to called Once Upon A Child. We just went through her clothes and picked a bunch we don't want and I definitely want to try and get some money out of it. I've tried Ebay but it's such a hassle so this is next on the list.
In other news:
I sold two things on Etsy within the last 24 hours!
Right now I'm working on some pregnancy journals to list on Etsy. They're going to be pretty cool, I'm excited.
And here are some helpful tips I picked up along the way:
Loveeee Daily Danny, green living craft ideas. Tutorial for silhouette plates
I just made up some wall art using scrapbook paper that I had lying around. I framed some, and glued the others to empty canvases I had. (Ignore the hideous wallpaper, I'm doing the best I can to make it look good)
This one that I framed, I made a really pretty origami lily and stuck it on with tape. It was really easy and I think it turned out cool, here is the video.
And this one I made origami Bell Flowers, directions here.
Been busy lately, I think it's all in my head though because I can't quite remember what I've been busy doing... I'm counting down the days 'till the weekend, I'm taking a trip to New Orleans!
I first saw this at Pier 1 about a week ago but it seemed way over priced so I passed it up and then I saw this on Little Miss Momma's BLog for a tutorial on Rocky Bella's blog. My kitchen needed a little somethin' somethin' to spruce it up so I decided to make one! I had a few extra picture frames around and some black spray paint. Then I picked up some hemp and the cutest little clothes pins at Wal-Mart. Easy as pie! And really cute, I want to make more... excuse the messy kitchen. I'm in a cleaning out mode so things are kind of... well everywhere. We have too much junk. I think a garage sale is in the near future. Anywho, that's what I did today.
So my birthday is coming up and there's a wedding in May that I'm attending and it's kind of cowboy themed. The whole wedding court is wearing boots including the bride and groom soo I wanted to get some! Since my birthday's coming up I started looking around so I could put them on my list. I ended up finding some at Salvation Army yesterday but here are some of my fav's from Etsy.
