Daybed.

Ok, here are the results of my daybed from Ikea.

and this is what I did.

We bought a cheap like $20 Comforter from Wal-mart and I sewed it to fit like a twin size fitted sheet as you can see in the picture below.

I made it so that it's short in the back and long in the front so we can tuck it under.

After that, I bought this cool quilt from Bed, Bath, And Beyond with my 20% off coupon. It ended up costing $50 which was the splurge of the whole project.

Then I dropped by Wal-mart and bought a few pillow that cost about $10-$13 (and they're pretty cute!). And there you have it.

All in all it cost about $130. I don't know if that's good or not but I'm very pleased with the outcome (:

Henna Tattoo Inspiration

All the sudden all of my friends are running out and getting tattoos. I don't know what it is, I guess a crazy coincedence? Who knows, well I've always thought about getting one but knew I was too fickle to stick with one. So my solution to my tattoo craving is Henna! I'm really excited. Apparently World Market doesn't sell the stuff anymore but I know Barnes and Nobles does so my sister and I are going first thing in the morning. I'm going to henna myself tomorrow and then lay out in the sun because it supposedly helps darken it. Here's some inspiration pics from Flickr. I had a mini spa day and painted my toenails. It made me feel pretty. But then a couple of hours later I went running with my dad and sis and I went to take my socks off and they were stuck to my big toes. Well so much for that, but atleast they're not totally ruined.

Photo Shoot!!

Yesterday, I went up to my mother's house and held a photo shoot for my etsy store with a bunch of my friends. It turned out really good. It was nice to see everyone again, like a little reunion and I got to work and enjoy every minute of it. It was fun to play photographer for the day, ha I felt really professional. Anyways, I think they came out really well. I'm lucky I have gorgeous friends (:
