Raw Pies // Peach & Blueberry


(for both)

11 dates, pitted
1/3 cups cashews, raw
1/3 cup walnuts, raw
1/3 cup almond, raw
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
pinch sea salt

1. In food processor, blend nuts with cinnamon and sea salt until crumbly.

2. Add dates, starting at 5 and blend. Add dates as needed until doughy consistency is reached (i.e. the mixture sticks together).

3. Press into pie pan.

4. Optional: chill in fridge 1-2 hours.


4 peaches, sliced thinly
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg (left this out because I didn't have it)
1 tbsp lemon
2 tbsp agave
6 dates
1/2 cup water


1 quart blueberries
3 bananas
6 dates
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon

1. Blend everything but peaches/blueberries in a processor until you have a thick syrup-y consistency. 

2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until fruit is evenly coated with mixture.

3. Spoon into crust.

4. Optional: let chill in fridge 1-2 hours.

5. Grub!

Tips & Suggestions: Leave out agave and maybe 3 dates in filling if it's too sweet. 
Maybe use 2 more peaches in peach pie

Here is where I got my inspiration. I personally liked the peach better but next time, I'll make it a bit less sweet. It was a little too overwhelming for me but everyone else loved it!
