5 Tips For True Financial Freedom

1. Know Your Big Why & What: Your reasons for wanting financial freedom and what that looks like for you

My 3 why's for wanting financial freedom:
-So that we can be free to live the life we approve of.
-So that instead of worrying, we can spend our time creating and being joyful and enjoying the life we have!
-To have some security for ourselves and for Eliza. Someday she's going to want (maybe?) to go to college and I want to be able to provide her with the means to do that!

What Financial Freedom Means For Me:
Being able to work from home. Being able to create endlessly. To help people .To build our dream life. To be able to inspire others. To be able to heal others. Not having to worry about paying the bills. Being able to be together as a family everyday. Being able to give all three members of our family the things they want. Be able to buy land some day and create a community. Put some money into savings for the future. To also have money for fun traveling and camping! To start buying all of our goods local/handmade and support all those around us!

I don't need financial freedom for:
Clothes (hello, thrift queen over here!) Conventional and processed foods that do nothing for our health (and can even be detrimental) Junk that we don't need. Junk that takes up our space and time. Things we don't wholeheartedly believe in

2. Stop relying on the lottery.
You’re going to become empowered. And you’re going to keep an open mind and keep learning. And you’re going to find out what works for you. Even if it’s scary. Even if it presses your buttons.

3. Keep learning about money and investments
It’s your job to do this. It’s completely up to you. You are the conscious creator of your world. It is GOOD to learn new things. It doesn’t have to feel like that scary hard thing you did at school.

You can do this on your own speed, learning about things in a way that feels good for you.

4. Spend less than you earn and be wary of consumer debt

You still need to be on a budget (GASP! SHOCK! I KNOW!) You still need to spend less than you earn. You still need to be diligent about savings.

Otherwise it’s just money coming in one door and going out the other.

5. Set monthly and yearly goals

Goals about how much you want to earn, how much you want to save, and what to do with your savings to make an investment.

Bonus Tip: Talk more about money!

If we are going to be true conscious creators of our lives… If we are going to step up into our power… If we are going to change this world, we need to lead a revolution of smart, savvy, spiritual women who aren’t afraid to talk about money.
The more we talk about money the SMARTER about it we will get!
