Eliza's FOURTH Birthday!
I can't even believe Eliza is four already. Next it'll be five, then 10, then 20! Maybe we'll both run away to Neverland so she never grows up....
We started her birthday off with some birthday pancakes topped with cake frosting and sprinkles, of course.
I didn't get many other pictures of her actual birthday however, a few days later we had not one, but TWO birthday parties for her! Lucky for her both of our parents are divorced so we have to divide the holidays, including her birthday!
As much as I don't like to indulge in super girly, commercial type things for Eliza, we decided to throw her a Fancy Nancy themed beauty spa party at my mom's house (the first party of the day). It turned out to be pretty fun and easy to prepare for since I've been making all kinds of natural beauty products lately. Pretty much all I had to do was buy the food!
We had tons of delicious cupcakes...
An assortment of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches...
And a parfait buffet! For our spa pampering, we put on all-natural, diy face masks, exfoliated with sugar scrubs, and did mani/pedis.
And for a take home gift, I set up a little station where our guests could make their own bath soaks!
This included epsom salt, colloidal oatmeal, dry milk, essential oils, and some herbs (lavender buds and some different teas). I think the guests liked this part the most, everyone went home with a relaxing bath soak to try out later!
And what party is complete without a photobooth?!
Once that party was over, we headed back down to our own house for part two! I think we wore the birthday girl out a bit... she had a nice "in between parties" nap on the way.
We had a pool party/bbq with a spongebob pinata filled with candy, bandaids, sparkly pencils, and craisins (courtesy of Brandon).
I would say it was a success. Happy birthday Eliza!
