Vintage Boots

Remember my post about getting new boots? Well after a trip to the mall and checking out EVERY store, I concluded that all the boots were all the same cheap shoes. I kind of came up with two criteria, 1) I wanted them to be real leather (I mean if I'm going to be dishing out a lot of money, they better be). The shoes I have now are clearly not and peeling. Yuck! and 2) I was looking for shoes where the sides are sewn to the bottom and not glued. Cheap shoes are made where the bottom on the inside and the soles are glued together with the outside of the shoe sandwiched in between. That's why they start coming apart after a while which I wanted to avoid because half of my shoes are like that right now. Kind of annoying? Sooooo anyways, after I didn't have any luck at the mall I figured my only choice was to go vintage.

They just don't make'm like they used ta! Here are a few awesome boots that I found in my searches.

Also, I don't think any of those were from this store (the ones I had a link to were already sold!!) but this store- Granny Vintage Shoes has some really cool boots. And vintage shoes. Worth a peek!!

Soooo I've already ordered a pair and CAN NOT WAIT until they come in! A cold front came in yesterday and I'm missing out on some great boot-wearing weather ;)
